The project involves a south-facing building on land acquired by the client for the construction of a two-family villa. The chosen planimetric development follows the linear course of the land itself, proposing a courtyard layout overlooking the pertinent garden.
The planimetric development and the views are designed in such a way as to optimize the solar gains and the trend of natural ventilation within the lot.
The course of the roof and its development outside the grounds acts as a sunscreen in the views, creating a sort of portico hence the name "Villa Ponte".
The formal linearity of the geometric shapes characterizes the building, giving it a very elegant and very rational visual impact, reflecting the internal distributive simplicity in the image.
