The required renovation included the raising of a portion of the building in order to create an additional floor in view of the enlargement of the living quarters. The street front was designed in alignment with the lower building next door, following the morphological norm, and presents a façade designed in accordance with the other fronts. Inside, on the courtyard side, on the other hand, the fronts present large contemporary windows that are in an interesting harmony with the traditional Milanese courtyard.
Arch. Gianluca Severgnini, a member of our staff, was involved in this project.
