The intervention in Dozio, a town near Lecco, involves the construction of a residential village for hotel use, to be developed at the behest of the client both through the recovery of the existing farmhouses and through the design of a series of smaller units.
The prefabricated blocks are positioned linearly along the hill as independent annexes but referring to the original complex, served by swimming pools, greenhouses and a restaurant dedicated to future customers / guests. In detail, the airframe units designed for reception have been designed strictly following the canons of the most accurate environmental design.
Made of wood and concrete according to prefabrication criteria (as visible in the project exploded views), they are south oriented and equipped with bioclimatic greenhouses on the façade to benefit from the solar gains duly shielded for the sunniest periods.
The development of the settlement follows the morphology of the land in accordance with the natural ventilation of the area. The small units connected to each other constitute an architectural engineering jewel in terms of design quality.
