The hotel is located in the center of Milan and was subjected around 2000 to a major internal redevelopment project in which the firm was the protagonist.
The typical compass door on the facade was subsequently duplicated to create an access also to the Carlyle Brera Cafè.
The intervention in the mezzanine area has created a long view of the double-height portico marked by the long shaped balustrade that follows the row of pillars on the facade.
Characteristic of the intervention is the shaped wooden false ceiling, which can be inspected for hygienic-sanitary reasons, which almost pertains to the sphere of sculpture rather than architecture.
